Las Vegas On A Budget? How About $99
Having been to Las Vegas on many occations I always look for a deal when I am going and found a value that can't be beat. A 2 night vacation in a hotel on or off the strip, 2 free dinner buffets, 2 afternoon shows (no not Cirque Du Soleil but with the money you save you can afford it now) and $200 casino play, it could not be beat, we found it on craigslist on a link at MrVegasTickets.com just request the free information and it gets emailed to you.
Well I did go and used the vacation, spent some time walking around and did see the afternoon show, my choice was Steve Wyrick, what a great magic show and the buffets where good and I did go on a budget as I was able to drive in from California. We did buy tickets to a couple of other shows and saw Cher since she was in town and the Beatles Love.
Las Vegas has changed a lot in the years that I had been there but every time it is a fun time for myself and my husband, the kids stayed with their grandmother as we needed the time alone but there would have been lots that the kids could had done.
We did go down to the Fremont Street Experience and saw the light show a couple of times on the hour and gambled a bit at the Golden Nugget. The 99 cent shrimp coctails are now $1.49 but still a great value at the Golden Gate casino, people watching was my favorite part while sitting at the Starbucks having a latte.
I hear that the economy has effected Las Vegas as well but from all the people I can not believe they are effected as the places where packed. Be sure and catch one of the Cirque Du Soleil shows you would never be disappointed going to any of them, we have seen them all now and enjoy the Beatles Love the best.
I did end up winning $200 at the tables so it was a visit to Vegas well worth the $99, when all was said and done I probably broke even.
