Its common to understand that the police/law enforcement will ofcourse not allow you to make a fist to make you easily escape the thumbcuffs. Nice show, they are already a step ahead.
Most police use handcuffs made by the same manufacturer, which also means they all use the same key. You can buy a universal handcuff key online, and use it to get out of the cuffs if you get arrested.
