    What we SHOULD do is have a generator, like you said, but powers a bit of electricity for a “bumper” which keeps it in motion when it stops. Genius huh?

    Perpetual motion generators don’t work.

    Even just spinning in air like that, it will slow and eventually stop spinning due to air friction.

    The best we can do is harness energy sources that are being wasted.
